EXAMS
HEY EVERYBODY!As for now,i've only completed TWO full papers.Higher Mother Tongue and English.Great right.haha.the rest were like,bits and pieces.i've taken Chem,Phy and Bio practicals.had SS and Emath P1 today.Lazy school.Our phy and bio papers were exactly the same as xinmin's past year's papers.let me emphasise again.EXACTLY THE SAME.ohwell.it's over,at least.dumb english.damnit damnit damnit!i wanna get A! i wanna get A!!!!but it seems highly impossible.all because of a silly mistake i made!they told us to write into our school's newsletter,and article about bla bla bla.so i assumed it was a formal letter.damnit.it's true when they say."dont assume cos you make an ass out of u and me."it was supposed to be just an article!not letter!my format's totally wrong.but i hope not too much marks would be deducted.DARN!about today.SS.ARGH!there simply wasnt enough time!it's like,there's no time for you to pause and consider how you would wanna answer the questions.thank God i memorised the format for SEQ.but SBQ!!! i made lots of mistakes.no time to think.i wrote whatever came into my mind.it was kind of messy.not just the handwriting.the content as well.but.oh well.i managed to finish all SBQ and one SEQ.the second SEQ is like..er..haha.finished yet not finished.it was a brief answer.i had so much to write lah!but simply no time.on the bright side,i spotted the right questions.i spotted Birth of Nation,Growth of Nation and Looking ahead.i did Birth of Nation.haha.cos i'm strong in that theme.emaths.dont talk about it.i've lost 4 marks due to carelessness.mr goh is SO gonna kill me.talking about mr goh.he's a great big liar.he told us ms lee's the one setting p1.when we received the paper,we just stunned there.EXAMINATIONS STTER: MR DOMINIC GOH.what the crap.haha.i have a few suggestions to make to MOE.maybe a MOE personnel will chance upon thie blog randomly?1. SS should be extended to 2 hours instead.why do i say so (hongkang style)? look, i can understand if only a minority cannot complete the SS paper on time.But that isnt the case now.I say with utter confidence that 75%-80% of the students cannot manage to finish the SS paper on time,and with time leftover to check our content in case we left out any important points.Now,with a time constraint of 90 mintues,we hardly have time to complete,what more talk about having time to think through carefully before answering each question? perhaps with an added 30 mintues,we'd be able to score well for the paper.this would be a great help to our results,especially in our competitive society today.2.NEVER EVER put exams before holidays.and continue after the holidays.Yes,i understand that putting papers after the holidays allow us more time to study,but why not consider starting the exams earlier,and spread them out so we have breathing space? either that or you put all after the holidays.it really felt like the last paper today.but sadly,it isnt.i know this isnt a valid argument since i believe bowen is the only school doing this.3.How about banning examinations altogether?i understand and agree that examinations allow teachers to evaluate our learning and their teaching.how about making teachers take psychology,so they can sort of "read our minds"? this way,without exams,they'd be able to access our performance.that'd make everyone on earth happy! the teachers have less marking,the students have less stress.who knows? without stress,our learning capacity may increase drastically! this is a win-win situation for everyone.parents have one less thing to worry about,students one less thing to stress about,teachers one less thing to cause them to die younger.even the government benefits! with our learning capacity stretched to the fullest,we'll all become smarter,and come up with new ways to help improve Singapore! what a wonderful thing to rejoice about! and i'm not even being sarcastic about it! =)well,those 3 suggestions are all for now.i dont wanna overload their minds.HAHAHAHAHA.okay,i know.i'm talking under the influence of panadol.or probably it's just exam jitters.well,it always happens,doesnt it?haha.IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.SCHOOL'S ENDING AT 11 TOMORROW.i just asked Mrs Ng, (or fondly known as Ms Jermaine Lee).she said it'll most probably end around 11.yup.pass the message around.what a joke.haha.the friendship that i thought is gone for good is actually intact.thanks friend.you know who you are.i think.haha.NING's BIRTHDAY PARTY TODAY!haha.YAY! a break from all the studying.e2 enthu rocks.sounds random.but i so love 4E2! =)
