JTT; i miss.
went school today.
met with jiaxing and jacyln.
when i saw the camp aspire people returning,
i was totally reminded of my fellow JTT-ians.
i walked home from school.
and on the way back,
my mind had a flashback of all the fun we had.
the batch of us - we got to know each other in June 2005.
that's the first JLTA we attended together - JTC.
(Junior Training Camp)
it was two years ago,
so i can only remember vague details.
we bonded together on the first day.
and consequently, we got to know each other better.
though in JTC, we didnt click much with the guys.
a lot of our firsts.
we built our first:
Chippewa Kitchen.
Tool Rack.
we used a Dutch Oven to cook our meals for the first time in our lives.
a lot lah.
and the following year was AJTC.
(Advanced Junior Training Camp)
this was the camp where we bonded together with the guys as well.
and i think Kenny, our senior guide, contributed to it.
he made us put our hands around each other during campfires,
and made us stand alternating (boy, girl) prior to that.
it was no kick building the Chippewa kitchen and all.
BUT, we built our watch tower,
suspension bridge.
man, was it fun! (:
we also went orienteering.
dutch oven still.
stayed up late into the night, completing our tasks.
chatted all through the last night, knowing we'll miss each other, guys and girls alike.
THIS YEAR.
JTT.
(Junior Training Trail)
we trekked.
pulau ubin.
camped at changi beach.
FUN doesnt even say it all,
not to mention the bond.
we braved through the rain,
we racked our brains,
we encouraged one another,
we prayed,
we sang,
we cheered,
we complained,
we cooked,
we bathed,
we slept,
we did not sleep,
we went crazy,
we got lost,
we carried 15kg of backpack,
WE LOVED.
TOGETHER, JTT WAS A SUCCESS.
we don't know what will happen next year.
supposedly it's Junior Survivor Camp.
it's gonna be more xiong than JTT.
BUT, a lot of us will not be able to attend the camp,
cos some are past the age limit.
i really hope we'll all be able to attend JSC.
the tougher the camp, the stronger our bonds.
i learnt that after going through so many camps with you guys.
some pictures. (:
