HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE. :D

2007 has been a really eventful year.

the year didn't exactly start out well, for me.
having to adapt in a new environment was a little terrifying.
i am one who is able to adapt well and fast, so i got over that pretty fast.

i am thankful to be in sr, where the culture is somewhat similar to bowen's,
especially the characteristics of both principals.
having a large group of bowenians around in sr helped too.
somehow knowing that they are there makes adapting to a new environment a lot easier.

so first and foremost, i wanna thank the group of bowenians in sr.
people like eugenia, jiaxing, jacyln, shuqin, dickson, and whoever else i missed out.
it was you people who made the initial part of life in sr more bearable,
and made me miss bowen life, haha.
you brought lots of laughter into my life, and introduced me to the great hougang people!

so secondly, thankyou, hougang people! namely those from s10, and brian!
yeapjun, my mingxing! thankyou! you've been a really awesome friend!
i got to know you guys through playing the silly and well-known boxgame.
that is sometihng i will never forget about my life in sr.

settling into a new class wasnt difficult for me at first,
because jacyln and jiaxing were in s17 as well.
when they started toying with the idea of changing their subject combination,
to say i didnt mind them leaving would be a great big fat lie.
but i know they have to consider the kind of prospects that the subcom would lead them to.
and hey,
i got on fine after that!

and so, thirdly, and most importantly, thankyou my 3lovelies, my 3jokes, my 3ppg, my 3whateverelse.
if anyone were to ask how 4of us got into a clique, none of us can answer.
but i have to say, you guys made sr life so much more fun.
cherr: hey honey. i know you hate changes. and this year is gonna be one full of changes. people will change, so will your environment. i know i've changed, but this i assure you, i will still be there for you. though i wont be in school to rant and rave with you, i will try my best to avail myself for you. j2 is gonna be a tough journey, but you can do it. in the meantime, i will keep you 3 in prayers. thankyou for making life in sr so awesome.
valerie: hey bitch. haha. you know i dont mean it when i call you that. you are what they say, whose barks are worse than its bites. many times you say stuff that may lead people to think you're one meanie and toughie, but we jolly well know you are a sweet and nice girl deep down. as much as you hate math, continue to DO YOUR TUTORIALS! or rather, START ON THEM! hahaha. i love you bitch, :D
geok: HAHAHAHAHAH. i'm sorry, your name leads me to type that out. you've given the word "funny" another depth. you're an awesome friend. and you NEVER fail to make me laugh each time i hang out with you. your generosity also teaches me quite a bit. stop saying you're kiamsiap just because annette is. HAHAHA. oops, dont let her see this. you, stop ponning school. be top student ok!

of course, fourthly, s17.
well well. there's been conflicts, many ups and downs, but we braved through them all together as a class.
mrchacko's been one kick-ass civics tutor. there can never be another like him.
s17 has brought much joy into my life as well.
it's our very different personalities that makes up this rojak class.
getting into silly troubles with you guys have been memorable,
so has snacking during lessons.
for those who will be in 2s14, chiong ok!
make the best of your one chance.
for the rest, whatever your decision may be, i wish you all the best.

now, for the chapalang people.
like the s32 people, s07 econs people, innzheng, jonathanng etc.
it's great to know you people.
i may not be close to you guys, but seeing familiar faces around the canteen, cafe, library, lockers makes me feel at home when in sr.
the occasional little chats, be it face to face, sms, msn, makes me appreciate friendship with you people.

how can i forget, darylANG and chimeng.
hahaha. it's a funny twist how the 4of us got to know you guys,
but i must say it's been an enjoyable short period of time spent with you guys.
your first phase of life is over,
look forward to the exciting ARMY life!

lastly (for the srlife part), the teachers. tutors, lecturers, whatever you call it. and not to forget, the principal whom i love so much. :D
these teachers are one of the greatest i have seen so far. they define what "passionate about your job" means. i'm serious.

so that's for my sr life.
having spent close to 9months there, it's made me see things in different perspectives.
i know i've changed, but i quite like the change.
it's made me even more vocal than before.

paula, joel, thankyou for being such wonderful leaders. i look up to you two, and your love for the cell really amazes me. i may have done things that have disappointed you, i apologise for that. thankyou for loving me enough to reprimand me, pray for/with me.
the rest of the cell members, thankyou for being you. i always look forward to fridays, because after a long week in school, i get recharged there, not only spiritually, but emotionally as well. the love within the cell is really evident. i love you awesome people.

well well. what a year. thankyou for ALWAYS being there. you've changed, so have i. so has our friendship! (: you're a fantabulous flautist. i really thankGod for a friend like you. our friendship is one i have no idea how to define, but i appreciate it. you have no idea how much i love you. continue to strive in 2008!

this year hasnt been easy for you, i know. we may not get to meet up as often as we love to, to talk as much as we want to, but my promise to you still holds. remember, you enjoy privileges cos you're my les partner. hahah. be strong! i love you tons and truckloads k. i'll be there for you no matter what it takes.

once my bro's good friend, now my best friend. you've been totally awesome. i know, my vocab sucks. hahaha. thankyou for always being there. i mean it. whenever i HAVE to talk to someone, or just cry to someone, i know i just need to send you a text and you will call me back right away. it really touches my heart to have such a wonderful friend like you. after you get attached, dont let the friendship spoil k. it warms my heart to see how you guys have grown, and the way you're so willing to serve. i enjoy myself talking to y'all, just hanging out and getting to know one another better. O levels! you guys can do it, that's for sure. dont stress! in all things, trust in the good Lord who never fails to bless you! :D

i've got a lot to thank God for you guys. thankyou for everything. :D it's great to have known you guys better through the period of these months! the commanders who have been supporting us, thankyou as well! especially cmdrs rongsheng, edina and joyce! thankyou for serving us and leading us. your patience is mo tak teng. HAHA. cantonese ah.

2008 will be a better year.
i expect more changes,
but with God's help,
i will change for the better together with these adaptations.
