yesterday was one awesome day.
went for block e.
i enjoyed myself, and i personally think it's a really really good way to reach out to our community.
people initially rejected us when we introduced ourselves as bethelites,
but when we clarified that we're there to offer different services to meet their needs,
they became really receptive.

went bugis with jo for a while after block e,
i got good buys.
HAHAHAHA.

went for rangers, which was fun, though we missed a few people.

dinner with valentin, vanessa, amanda, anthia, cmdr tres, joyce and edinajie.
was really really fun,
i enjoyed myself so so much.
ate at sushi tei, then went to b&j's.

friendship sunday is awesome!
though my friends didn't come, i know God will still speak to them in His own special way.
we had 46 newcomers who registered,
and later, there were about 4 more who registered,
so i think we did meet our target!
praise God!
and thankGod for the salvations!
i believe the rest will come to know Him soon too! :D

this morning,
we went to poh huat road at 9am.
my xiaogu's idea.
cos it's gonggong's 9th anniversary,
today is the 9th,
so we must be there at 9am.

they went 147 for breakfast,

this is ridiculously funny.
i happened to view the videos i have in this laptop,
and i swear it got me laughing like mad.

the one that 4of us took at science center.
remember we took the simulator ride that wasnt simulating AT ALL?
it's super funny cos the whole time we were screaming for NOTHING.
cheap thrill, cos we thought,
"since we paid money for the supposed excitement, might as well make it exciting."

the very first second of the video,
i saw a super classic face by geok.

her mouth was wide open, as if with shock.
and the video is retarded cos most of the time it's pitch black.
you get a headache watching it cos it's super shaky;

if we are late, he'll make sure he releases us late the next time for that teacher's lesson.
so it's quite a funny sight to see the class of 42 running from third level all the way down to first level,
just so we wouldnt be too late.
(usually from third, because we're always released late by ssteacher. shucks, how can i forget her name. OHYES. mrshee.)

and running away from mrsphay reminds me of mrsdanapal.
thinking back,
i have absolutely no idea why we had to run away from her all the time.
when the canteen's empty, and she happens to be there,
we'd be willing to forgo our food just so we wont bump into her.
i believe it's because she's so intimidating.
you can feel her aura metres away, really. HAHAHA.

and how can i forget the two years when eugenia, ziwei, lihui and i are always on the lookout of people who are stoning?
it's really funny to look at them.

and the way 4E2 united as one to emerge as the overall winner for sportsday06.

oh, and during sec3 camp.

i tend to think alot when i get sleepless nights.

there are lots i want to type.
but it sounds silly the moment i type them down.

i wonder if i die,

yet i did not love her/him as much as i should have when i was alive?
then again,

i remember during mama's wake,
ivanajie and i went to ALL the tables to kop ALL the peanuts and the blackiethingy.
we started cracking and removing the shells,
and we were super satisfied at the big plate of nuts we have.
so we started munching on them like nobody's business.
she puked afterwards, and i had fever that night.

and i wanna wear Belle's gown on my wedding.
it's so pretty, don't you think?
i ever mentioned it to my parents,
and they think i'm crazy.
because white gowns are supposed to signify purity.
but wearing yellow gowns doesnt mean i'm not pure, right?

it's funny how i stepped into sr, clinging on so tightly to the bowenians.
but yet when i think of sr now, the first thing that comes to mind is this:

i know through this year, many stuff happened.
in sr, i've definitely gone through lots of things that arent even related to them.
yet my most vivid memories are the times spent with them.

as much as i say i can adapt well,
i fear unfamiliarities.
people like serene, jo, bestie and cherr would label me as independent,
and so it's not gonna be difficult for me to get used to poly life.
but i fear.
just like i feared when i first entered sr.

i ought to get some sleep.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE. :D

2007 has been a really eventful year.

the year didn't exactly start out well, for me.
having to adapt in a new environment was a little terrifying.
i am one who is able to adapt well and fast, so i got over that pretty fast.

i am thankful to be in sr, where the culture is somewhat similar to bowen's,
especially the characteristics of both principals.
having a large group of bowenians around in sr helped too.
somehow knowing that they are there makes adapting to a new environment a lot easier.

so first and foremost, i wanna thank the group of bowenians in sr.
people like eugenia, jiaxing, jacyln, shuqin, dickson, and whoever else i missed out.
it was you people who made the initial part of life in sr more bearable,
and made me miss bowen life, haha.
you brought lots of laughter into my life, and introduced me to the great hougang people!

so secondly, thankyou, hougang people! namely those from s10, and brian!
yeapjun, my mingxing! thankyou! you've been a really awesome friend!
i got to know you guys through playing the silly and well-known boxgame.
that is sometihng i will never forget about my life in sr.

settling into a new class wasnt difficult for me at first,
because jacyln and jiaxing were in s17 as well.
when they started toying with the idea of changing their subject combination,
to say i didnt mind them leaving would be a great big fat lie.
but i know they have to consider the kind of prospects that the subcom would lead them to.
and hey,
i got on fine after that!

and so, thirdly, and most importantly, thankyou my 3lovelies, my 3jokes, my 3ppg, my 3whateverelse.
if anyone were to ask how 4of us got into a clique, none of us can answer.
but i have to say, you guys made sr life so much more fun.

so has snacking during lessons.

it's great to know you people.
i may not be close to you guys, but seeing familiar faces around the canteen, cafe, library, lockers makes me feel at home when in sr.
the occasional little chats, be it face to face, sms, msn, makes me appreciate friendship with you people.

hahaha. it's a funny twist how the 4of us got to know you guys,
but i must say it's been an enjoyable short period of time spent with you guys.

we went conrad's place to prepare our food for tomorrow.
i had a draggy feeling, cos we've been doing the same thing over and over again.

my fever's back.
i think it's gotta do with the fact that i slept late last night,
spending too much time with the fire,
didnt drink enough water,
caught in the rain.

but it's all worth it.
we produced 12beggar's chicken,
18claypot rice,
12 cakes.
awesome.
we received alot of positive feedbacks.
and the chicken,
we had one SUPER successful one.

cmdrchong described to me and josh about how the real successful one should look like.
and today, we've seen it for ourselves.
the kind of happiness we felt, awesome.

i woke up shivering.
it was super cold.
so i dragged myself out of bed to turn off the aircon.
that was when i realised it's raining.

after all the admin stuff, mr chacko said these to me.

at that moment,
i had SO much to tell him.
but i was already controlling my tears.
so i briefly said,
"thank you mr chacko. i'll come back to visit for sure."

and before i stepped out of the office,

and for the last time i called him unclefu.

took a good look at school as i walked out.
i will miss serangoon junior college for sure.
it holds too much memories.

today marks the end of our PW journey
to SR116:
it's been great working together with you guys
though of course there were moments we get slightly irritated with each other,
but because we care about one another's feelings
we never did break out in heated arguments.
haha, i know i'm really naggy at times, keep stressing on love within the group.
but hey, that's a good thing, isn't it?
haha, we've learnt to appreciate one another better, i hope. :D
and of course, at times, i've failed as a group leader.
i have my flaws, and thank you for bearing with them.
when i saw our gpf today, i felt the same sort of accomplishment when i saw our binded wr.
whatever grades we may get, it's our effort.
we've come so far together, and learnt alot as a group.
our groundbreaker has even visited our school to give a talk, and i really think it's wonderful.

it was awesome to spend time with them.

i tidied my blog a little.
i dont wanna change blogskin, cos i really like my current one.

i was just looking through our gwf, and am really amazed at how far we've come since the pi stage.
when we first started on pi, everyone had absolutely no idea how to go about even STARTING it.
and now, we've completed op.
i really think it's God's grace that we've done what we had.

was supposed to go school for op rehearsal.
but i'm down with fever, damn.
